This is a highly invasive, mat-forming grassy weed that can rapidly creep across your lawn. It is typically found in lawns that receive frequent amounts of supplemental irrigation or excessive rainfall. In an overly watered and well fertilized lawn, this weed can take over and crowd out otherwise healthy lawn grasses. Proper mowing, watering and fertilization is key to managing this weed.
